Overview

In IMO, discussions on the MASS (Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships)  Code are progressing and the technical development of MASS is also advancing across the world.

However, the technical levels of development and it’s needs vary, and many legal issues remain. In this context, it is becoming increasingly important for industry, academia, and government to collaborate and discuss the future.

Since this situation is no exception in the field of coastguards, this seminar intends to share and discuss the knowledge, experience, best practices, and any developments and other perspectives, with coastguard officers and those who are interested in coastguard functions in the field of industry and academia across the world.

概要

 IMOにおいては、MASS (Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships) コードに関する議論が進み、自動運航船の技術開発も世界各地で進んでいます。

 しかしながら、その開発の技術レベルやニーズは様々であり、法的課題も多く残っています。この様な中、産学官が連携し、今後の姿を議論する重要性は、より一層高まっています。

 これは海上保安分野にあっても例外ではないため、本セミナーでは、これらの知識、経験、ベストプラクティス、技術開発とその展望について、世界中の海上保安官や産学官の海上保安機能に関心のある方々と共有し、議論していくことを目的としています。
